Having worked closely with Rhinomed for well over 10 years, APS were the only choice for developing their unique new vapor inhaler product range, but with such a short time-frame it was sometimes a challenge to keep calm and there was certainly no breathing easy until it was all done.

Leveraging their existing successful work with Rhinomed on the Mute & Turbine product ranges, APS wasted no time in adapting the unique adjustable nasal stent technology to develop prototypes for user-trials and refinement of the wicking technology.

Drawing on the flexible resources and broad expertise of APS allowed Rhinomed to ramp-up development rapidly, and being design-responsible from concept to product-on-shelves enabled APS to parallel process key critical project stages in-house, with clear and strong communication ensuring all team members worked seamlessly.

Customised testing programs were established to quickly characterise the various scents, and balance their relative strengths and decay rates, making use of the specialist development laboratory equipment in-house at APS.

Working arm in arm with Rhinomed’s marketing team, photo-realistic renderings and user-instructions were developed concurrently with development and refinement of 3D CAD, tooling design, material selection and finally overseeing the tooling program, and managing the tight schedule of die-trials and product production.
